Tennessee Mental Health Consumers’ Association has an immediate opening for a BVG Program Director. Key responsibilities include providing supervision and oversight to the housing, peer center, and peer link programs operating at the Beers Van Gogh Center of Excellence; develop and implement all guidelines and policies with the purpose of ensuring compliance with all government regulations, as well as maintaining alignment with the organization’s mission; monitors the effectiveness of the programs. The BVG Program Director serves as a representative of the BVG programs to the external community; attends community events in an effort to build and maintain positive relationships within the mental health and housing community, and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program and supervision of all staff at the BVG site.

The BVG Program Director must be able to lead and inspire others, ensure the fair and equitable delivery of services, and encourage growth of diverse and quality assistance. BVG Program Director must be able to work effectively with stakeholder groups and the general public and must work effectively in a team environment. The BVG Program Director must live in West Tennessee. State, Local, and National travel is involved.
